DSQ was engaged by MPC Kinetic & John Holland J.V. (W2BH) to undertake all surveying services for the design and construction of the Wentworth to Broken Hill water pipeline for WaterNSW, which replaced Broken Hill’s existing water supply. The project consisted of 270 km steel water pipeline, wet well at Murray River inlet, four pump stations along the route and a 720 megalitre bulk water storage pond south of Broken Hill. DSQ provided survey services including detail surveys, survey control verification, pipeline route redesigns, construction set-out, GPS machine control support, as-built surveys, GIS, WAE and redline drawings. DSQ had a Survey Manager and up to 7 Surveyors onsite, supported by staff at DSQ’s head office at Warana on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
