DSQ was engaged by Golder Associates to provide survey services for construction of the BC & IX Pond at Northern Water Treatment Plant, Woleebee Creek.  This included earthworks, mechanical, structural and pipework installation.  As part of the earthworks package the Falcon 8 UAV was flown over the site to create an accurate orthophoto for volume calculations of removal of materials and surrounding stockpiles.  The orthophotos were also utilised in reporting on the progress of the project and gave a clear visual representation of installation of the pond lining.  Additional imagery was also provided at lower flying heights and different perspectives to be used by the client for other project documentation purposes.
