Don Lantz and Gary Simiona were awarded last month’s Safety Award for always being prepared. The pair were working in a high-risk environment when they were visited by our Assist and Assure leader and site manager, who both gave excellent feedback. Don and Gary proved to be extremely switched on in identifying all potential hazards and risks prior to completing the tasks at hand.
This is exactly what the Assist and Assure program is focused on – ensuring workers are thinking about safety before beginning a job.
